La SARS a fine estate

SARS has been identified in February 2003; in March 2003 the etiological chain was identified in an Hong Kong apartment building. By April 2003 a Coronavirus was identified as the etiological agent. Everyday data are confronted through video conferences. All this represents a success of international research. Many problems still remain unsolved: the real mortality rate at different ages, medical therapy, vaccine research. Will the problem come back in winter?
