Un bambino con una gran tosse

A case is reported of a child ten years old with a history of persistent cough: the disorder was present at school, overall during the mathematic lessons, disappeared with sleep and typically had a harsh, “barking” quality. He was investigated by many doctors and he was treated with inhaled corticosteroids and bronchodilators without any benefit. After many specialists’ visits an “habit cough” was diagnosed.
